Blaine W. Fujimoto

Mr. Fujimoto joined the firm in January 2020 and concentrates his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation litigation and third-party subrogation. He has practiced before the Disability Compensation Division and Labor and Industrial Relations Appeals Board of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Insurance Division of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, District Court, Circuit Court, and Intermediate Court of Appeals in the State of Hawai’i. He became a partner with Chong, Nishimoto, Sia, Nakamura & Goya, LLLP in 2020.


Mr. Fujimoto graduated from the Shidler College of Business of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa in 2004, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law in December 2007. He was admitted to the Hawai’i Bar in June 2008.


During law school, Mr. Fujimoto served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael A. Town (ret.) of the First Circuit Court, State of Hawai’i, and worked at the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic in Washington.

Upon graduation, Mr. Fujimoto joined the firm of Wong & Oshima, AAL, ALC in Honolulu as an associate in 2008 where he later became a Partner/Director in 2015 and served in this capacity through January 2020.


Mr. Fujimoto is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Hawai’i and the United States District Court for the District of Hawai’i.

Mr. Fujimoto is a member of the Hawai’i State Bar Association and Hawai’i Court Annexed Arbitration Program. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American Bar Association and National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network (“NWCDN”) ( He currently serves as the Hawai’i liaison for the NWCDN.
